METHODS OF PAYMENT

We accept the following methods of payment: Visa, MasterCard,  issued in Canadian dollars.
Items will be charged to your selected method of payment when the order is placed. Your order may ship in multiple packages.
Please note that we are unable to process your order if we cannot obtain an authorization from your credit card company. 

SALES TAX

We are required to collect local sales tax 7%PST and 5%GST, for shipments within Canada.

ORDERS

We ask that you review your order carefully, as it cannot be modified once submitted .
You will receive an order confirmation by email once the order has been completed. 

Most in–stock items take 72 hours to process. Please note that we do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays or Canadian holidays.
Orders may be split across multiple shipments, and items ordered together may not be shipped out on the same day. Occasionally, items may be out–of–stock or backordered. You will be alerted in both instances, and in the event of a backorder, you will be provided an approximate date of shipment. You will be informed if an item is backordered when you add it to your basket or within ten days of placing your order.

Return & Exchange Policy

All sales are final. Exchanges are available on full priced items within 7 days. 

EXCHANGES

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us to exchange your item(s) within 7 days of the delivery date, with proof of purchase. Note that exchanges are not accepted for special orders.

Upon return, your item will be inspected and exchanges or credits will be issued for the purchase price. Delivery fees are non-refundable and complimentary delivery received becomes payable. Blue Moon reserves the right to refuse exchanges of items that are not in as-new condition due to damage or misuse by the client.

SPECIAL ORDERS

Special orders cannot be returned or exchanged. Special orders are submitted for production immediately upon order placement and are built to your specifications.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Blue Moon uses third party shipping and delivery services. Whether the shipping and delivery costs are paid by Blue Moon or the client, the client is considered to be in contract with the shipping/delivery provider. Blue Moon is not responsible for any damage or loss caused by the third party shipping/delivery provider. The client is free to chose their own shipping / delivery or pick up method so long as it is scheduled and agreed upon in advance with Blue Moon.

PICK UPS

Product pick ups are available by appointment only between 10-5 Monday - Friday. Please ensure you arrive with sufficient personnel and materials to receive your pick up. Blue Moon does not pack or load pick ups.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY RETURNS

Should an item be returned or exchanged for any reason the client is responsible for any shipping / delivery for the return as well as any complimentary shipping will become payable by the client. 

RENTAL FEES

20% for the first week and 10% per week thereafter. Rentals are available certain items only. Please contact showroom directly with inquiries.

BLUE MOON FURNITURE  DOES NOT SUPPLY ANY OTHER KIND OF WARRANTIES, OTHER THAN THOSE HEREBY MENTIONED, THE RETAILER, IT’S EMPLOYEES AND/OR THIRD PARTIES MAY NOT ALTER THE TERMS OF THIS WARRANTY, NOR MAY THEY ISSUE ANY OTHER WARRANTY STATEMENTS IN ANY FORM ON THE BLUE MOON FURNITURE’S BEHALF.

It is our hope and expectation that your Majestic Live Edge Dining table will last for generations.

The wood has been Kiln dried and the tables designed with stabilizing features. Wood cut in large slabs incorporates all of the features of natural wood: cracks, bark pockets, knots etc. These tables present the tree as it grew and are celebrated for their organic, beautiful and interesting features in the wood.

Wood Movements: To reduce wood movement, keep humidity between 35% - 50%

Polish: as needed with good quality lemon oil like Old English Polish

Finishing: use a cloth to wipe Danish Oil when needed and leave overnight too dry.

Marks: water and heat marks can be avoided using coasters and heat trivets. Indentations can be avoided using writing pads.

Fading: Avoid direct sunlight to reduce fading.

BLUE MOON FURNITURE  DOES NOT SUPPLY ANY OTHER KIND OF WARRANTIES, OTHER THAN THOSE HEREBY MENTIONED, THE RETAILER, IT’S EMPLOYEES AND/OR THIRD PARTIES MAY NOT ALTER THE TERMS OF THIS WARRANTY, NOR MAY THEY ISSUE ANY OTHER WARRANTY STATEMENTS IN ANY FORM ON THE BLUE MOON FURNITURE’S BEHALF.

THE WARRANTY IS ONLY FOR THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER WITH THE ORIGINAL BILL OF SALE.

12 months warranty to be free from defects in construction and craftmanship from time of purchase.

Blue Moon Furniture provides a limited one year warranty to the original purchaser of Blue Moon Furniture wood table from an authorized dealer that the furniture is free from defects as noted.

This warranty applies under conditions of normal household use, not defects that results from negligence, soiling, improper cleaning, misuse, abnormal use, accident, or commercial use.

Blue Moon Furniture, will, for one year following the date of the original purchase, at Blue Moon Furniture’s option in its sole discretion, repair or replace of provide a substitute for, any piece or part found to be defective in construction or workmanship.

Any costs of packing are shipping are not covered under this warranty. Service claims under this warranty should be made through the retail store from which the furniture was purchased. To obtain proper service under this warranty, the original purchase receipt should be kept.

The warranty covers any repair, labour and materials, for any furniture item deemed to be defective by the store of purchase (with normal use, in normal conditions).

Shipping and delivery charges associated with investigating or resolving the warranty issue are not covered.

There are expected to be lead time associated with resolving issues. These can range from days, to weeks and months depending on the issue. This warranty does not include cover for any loss of enjoyment of your furniture for this period.

The warranty only applies to items from our collection accompanied by a fully paid invoice. Our invoice constitutes the only legitimate proof of purchase. Should your Warranty have expired, we will may be able to provide you with service or replacement parts for which additional costs will be charged.

The warranty is non-transferable and cannot be signed or passed on to someone else, even if the goods are resold.

The warranty does not apply to furniture or sofas discounted and/or sold in a clearance sale. All items sold on sale, at a discounted price or in a clearance sale are considered Sold As Seen (unless stated otherwise in the order form).

We recommend inspecting your item(s) thoroughly once delivered, if there is anything which concerns you, you must report it to the delivery team, write it on any relevant delivery documentation, and inform the store of purchase immediately. Any issues reported after the date of delivery must be reported within 72 hours of the delivery but may result in a delay in determining the cause of the issue.

Any form of damage caused by you once the item is delivered, is not covered by the Warranty under any circumstances. We will however attempt to assist you to fix or replace the item if requested, and there may be reasonable costs and charges imposed. This will be at the discretion of the store of purchase.

Warranty Limitations

Warranty is limited to normal residential use.

Warranty is limited to generally accepted care and maintenance of natural wood products and environments.

Damage identified as shipping, carrier or installer related.

Normal wear and tear of wood products during course of ownership.

Colour, grain, or texture variations.

Damages and failures resulting from misuse, abuse, negligence, improper care, modifications or relocation.

Any condition resulting from the incorrect or inadequate maintenance, cleaning or commercial use.

Any condition resulting from other than ordinary residential wear or from any use for which the product was not intended.

Small natural movements of the wood including warping and surface cracks,

Work done by or damage caused by 3rd party

The thickness of the solid wood will allow for refinishing many times.

Please feel free to contact us for advice if you would like to refinish or repair it at any point in the future.

BLUE MOON WILL REPAIR OR REPLACE THE PRODUCT OR PART OF IT, AT ITS OWN DISCRETION, WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME PERIOD, AFTER COMPLETING ANY FURTHER CHECKS THAT THE REPORTED NON-CONFORMITIES OR DEFECTS EXIST AND THAT THEY ARE COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY; THESE CHECKS MAY BE MADE BY BLUE MOON OR BY ONE OF ITS REPRESENTATIVES.

IF, AT THE TIME OF REPAIR, IDENTICAL MATERIALS TO THOSE CONSIDERED NON- CONFORMING OR DEFECTIVE ARE NOT AVAILABLE, THEN BLUE MOON RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SUBSTITUTE THOSE MATERIALS WITH OTHERS OF EQUAL QUALITY AND ECONOMIC VALUE.

UPHOLSTERED FURNITURE LIMITED WARRANTY

BLUE MOON FURNITURE  DOES NOT SUPPLY ANY OTHER KIND OF WARRANTIES, OTHER THAN THOSE HEREBY MENTIONED, THE RETAILER, IT’S EMPLOYEES AND/OR THIRD PARTIES MAY NOT ALTER THE TERMS OF THIS WARRANTY, NOR MAY THEY ISSUE ANY OTHER WARRANTY STATEMENTS IN ANY FORM ON THE BLUE MOON FURNITURE’S BEHALF.

THE WARRANTY IS ONLY FOR THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER WITH THE ORIGINAL BILL OF SALE.

Our warranty covers all manufacturer’s structural defects for 5 years from the date of purchase (when full payment is completed), not the date of delivery.

The coil spring units, coil springs, strapping are warrantied against manufacturers defects for 3 years.

Cushions are with varied high density polyurethane cushioning materials in conjunction with layers of polyester fibre, feathers are warranted for 3 years.

Our upholstered fabrics are warranted against defective materials or workmanship for 1 year after date of purchase. 


A structural defect is defined as: a failure, material or mechanical, of the supporting structure of the furniture. For example: the frame of a sofa or the legs on a cocktail table. This excludes the materials on the frame (foam, fabrics, lacquers, leathers, varnish etc.) which are covered under a separate warranty. See Exclusions Below

For material substances and upholstery (leather, fabrics, foam, varnishes, patinas) we offer a 1 year warranty for material failure. This does not include “Wear and Tear” or “Natural Characteristics”. See Exclusions Below.

The warranty covers any repair, labour and materials, for any furniture item deemed to be defective by the store of purchase (with normal use, in normal conditions).

Exclusions:

“Wear and Tear” and “Natural Characteristics” are not covered by our warranty under any circumstances. The diagnosis of these factors will be determined by our Blue Moon technicians who in some circumstances may have to carry out testing.

Some traits of “Wear and Tear” and “Natural Characteristics” are listed below. This is not an exhaustive list and Blue Moon reserves the right to abide by the diagnosis of the Blue Moon technician or appointed professional:

  • Stretching and warping of seat upholstery (leather, fabric, or other materials) due to normal use. These materials will change with use and natural exposure to abrasions, sunlight, liquids, rubbing, scratching, pulling, and stretching. This includes the stitching. Wrinkling is also a natural effect of hand upholstered leather and fabric, and is not considered a defect.

  • Fading (of seats, upholstery, stains, carpets, woods, lacquers, etc.) caused by exposure to sunlight and other abrasions, are not covered under warranty.

  • Staining of porous materials due to normal use is also not covered under warranty.

  • Scratching or indentation of materials such as glass or lacquered materials.

  • Warping or movement of wood materials due to natural conditions such as humidity.

  • Natural characteristics of natural materials such as wood and leather are not covered by the warranty, and are not considered defects: Stretch marks, variation in grain / pattern, and knots are typical examples.

  • Poor assembly, adjustment, setting or other actions taken by people who are not authorized by Blue Moon.

  • Use in public or professional settings, unless the model is appropriate for such use and this has been specified on the order form.

  • The effects of natural body perspiration or other ailments on the materials of the furniture or sofa.

  • Deteriorations due to improper use

  • Repairs or modifications done by clients or by a third party not authorized by Blue Moon.

  • Any damage caused by pets

  • After market treatment(s) water or stain repellent treatment applied, leather conditioners or any 3rd party products applied.

  • Any third party work voids the warranty.

  • Damage caused by clothing include dye transfers, studs and embellishments.

  • Standing on the furniture or sitting on the arms or back.

  • Non-conformities in products bought for non-residential use, ie in environments other than the product’s normal residential setting.

  • Faults or defects due to accidental damage.

  • Faults or defects of leaving indoor furniture outdoors.

  • Natural markings or creases caused by damage to the leather or by variation in the gran and colour to do leather’s natural properties (characteristics that simply reflect the use of genuine leather).

  • Cracking or peeling of leather.

  • Damage caused by burns, cuts, pets or other forms of improper use.

  • Damage caused by the user’s negligence or by unsuitable cleaning or treatment of the upholstery including any third party products.

  • Damage to the leather or fabrics caused by the application of chemicals, detergents, softeners or treatments not authorized by Blue Moon.

  • Damage caused by corrosive materials such as acids, solvents, dyes, inks, pants, or human or animal fluids.

  • Damage from direct exposure to sunlight and/or heat sources, and similar conditions, with resulting discolouration.

  • Damage due to abuse, improper use or force of nature.

  • Damage due to incorrect transport or handling of the product including damage done on initial delivery whosever paid the delivery fee.

  • Items sold as samples, as used goods or “as is”

  • Damage due to repairs made by any third party authorized by Blue Moon.

  • Matters interpreted as non-conformities because of incorrect information received from staff in store.

  • Compensation for indirect or consequential damage (i.e. the normal inconvenience and/or lost time entailed in repairing or replacing products) or for the total or partial loss of the product.

  • Solutions that cost more than, or the same as, the product purchase price.

  • Any cost of packing and transportation to and from Blue Moon or authorized repair premises or other point(s) determined by Blue Moon.

  • Softening of the cushions with use, which must not in any way be interpreted as a loss of resilience due to production faults, defects in materials or non-conformities of any kind

  • Claims concerning any features intrinsic to the product’s handcrafted nature, such as slight variations in the pitch of the stitching, colour of the stitching, tolerances in the alignment of the cushions, the product’s measurements, and any other slight difference which is due to the handcrafted nature fo the product or the techniques employed.

THE MANUFACTURER WILL REPAIR OR REPLACE THE PRODUCT OR PART OF IT, AT ITS OWN DISCRETION, WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME PERIOD, AFTER COMPLETING ANY FURTHER CHECKS THAT THE REPORTED NON-CONFORMITIES OR DEFECTS EXIST AND THAT THEY ARE COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY; THESE CHECKS MAY BE MADE BY BLUE MOON OR BY ONE OF ITS REPRESENTATIVES.

IF, AT THE TIME OF REPAIR, IDENTICAL MATERIALS TO THOSE CONSIDERED NON- CONFORMING OR DEFECTIVE ARE NOT AVAILABLE, THEN THE MANUFACTURER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SUBSTITUTE THOSE MATERIALS WITH OTHERS OF EQUAL QUALITY AND ECONOMIC VALUE.
