  • The BEND UPHOLSTERY COLLECTION is Blue Moon’s exclusive collection of upholstered furniture.

    Meticulously designed in house in response to today’s evolving lifestyles. Featuring extraordinary sofas, sectional, chairs ottomans and beds.

    The Bend Upholstery Collection takes inspiration from the expansive Canadian landscapes to create innovative furniture pieces that feature sculptural free flowing lines or geometric shapes combined with exceptional detailing like fine tailored intentional stitching, French seams, piping, back rolls and detailing, hand hammered studs, pleats and deep tufting.

    The result being pieces with true significance.

  • There are two common rub tests to gauge the durability and wearability a fabric. Those tests are the Wyzenbeek test and the Martindale test. The Wyzenbeek test uses double rubs along the warp and weft of the fabric. The Martindale test uses a figure 8 motion on the fabric. The wrap counts of both tests indicate the number of rubs before any visible wear on the fabric.

    Upholstery Fabric - 25,000+ rubs or double rubs.

    Commercial Fabric - 90,000+ rubs or double rubs.

    Blue Moon Furniture’s upholstered furniture is constructed using only the best materials and construction techniques.

    Frames: Frames are constructed using hardwood.

    Seat Materials: High density foam’s, Dacrons and down and feathers are used in varying combinations to create comfortable, stable seats that maintain their shape for years.

    Fabrics: Blue Moon Furniture’s bend upholstery line uses a vast assortment of high-quality European fabrics that are beautiful and practical, tested for harmful substances and rate high on the Martindale rub tests.

    Leathers: Bend Upholstery collection is available in an assortment of high quality leathers including top grain leather, luxury leather with natural characteristics and vintage look leather with high wear results.
